I did my primary and highschool in Colegio San Jose, Medellin; which belongs to the La Salle congregation.

Studied Economics in the Universidad de Antioquia (UdeA), Medellin. Took undergraduate economics courses in Indiana University of Pennsylvania (fall 1998). Hold a Master in Economics from Universidad del Rosario (UR), Bogota. A Master in economics from Australian National University (ANU) and currently I am working in my Ph.D. thesis for in Economics in RSPAS-Economics at ANU.

While I was studing undergraduate economics I worked as an english teacher in the Children's program of Centro Colombo Americano in Medellin. Meanwhile worked as a research assistant in the Centro de Investigaciones Economicas (CIE) in UdeA. In 2000 got a job as research assistant in UR, where latter worked as lecturer.

In the meantime, I have translated )economic'related) books from english to spanish, most of them originally published by World Bank.
